Making a Positive Change for Dallas Animals

Big Fix for Big D

Big Fix for Big D is a multi-year effort of four community partners to spay or neuter thousands of pets in Dallas. Its purpose is to significantly diminish the number of unwanted litters, with the ultimate goal of reducing euthanasia of adoptable pets.

Since it began in April 2012, Big Fix for Big D has provided more than 30,000 spay/neuter surgeries. Through the Big Fix for Big D initiative, the City of Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center, Dallas Companion Animal Project, Spay Neuter Network and SPCA of Texas offer free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and registration in select Dallas zip codes.
